Stewardship, Generosity, and Giving at Epiphany Church

There are two reasons to practice stewardship, generosity, and giving at Epiphany Church. The first is because it is strengthens and transforms the individual member's soul. The second is because the mission of Epiphany Church is worthy of and depends on each one of its members.

One of the most basic practices of the Christian faith is stewardship. It begins with the awareness of the wonderful gifts that God has given to us in our lives and then responds with giving and generosity in return. Stewardship is not duty as much as it is thanksgiving. Its practice actually builds and transforms a person's soul. The reason we give to Epiphany Church is because it the community where we experience transformation, and the action of giving within that community gives hope and restoration to our souls. Stewardship frees us for the love of God in our lives.

And... the mission of Epiphany Church is worthy of and depends on our stewardship, generosity, and giving. Something unique and significant is happening at the Epiphany. We are inviting new people, engaging in new ministries of learning with youth and adults, representing new forms of worship (U2 and Hip Hop...), and leading ministries of compassion and service in the West Loop and further beyond. It is a vital and lively mission, and it depends on you... the offering of your time, your talent, and your financial resources. Your generosity and giving directly affects our capacity to do these ministries. Epiphany's mission needs you.

Join in the mission and the hopeful response of giving. You will be blessed as you are a blessing to this community of faith.
