MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the “Church in metropolitan Areas Network” or CMA Network is to participate in the transformation of ALL people to –
- BE the heart of Jesus in the heart of the city;
- LIVE into the fullness and wholeness of our lives;
- PRACTICE humility, liberation and solidarity, in the Spirit of our Savior and the prophets of old;
- COMMIT ourselves to the radical nature of the gospel;
- ENGAGE in the urban struggles for justice and mercy;
- CHALLENGE the structures of oppression that sustain poverty;
- RECLAIM the prophetic role of the Church;
- GATHER at least twice a year to reflect on our mission, support each other in our ministries, and strengthen the ministry of the Episcopal Church in metropolitan areas.
